Flipping through the pages of Lou Lou magazine’s July issue, always thinking about the “why do they never mention Winnipeg in these pages” when suddenly there it was. The feature on Winnipeg that so distinctly describes the great things about the city that I was born, raised and grew up in.

I’ve been to a lot of places. I’ll be planting my feet on different soil soon. But no matter how far I am from Winnipeg, I know that it’s a place that I will always call home.
