Confessions of a Shopaholic comes out February 13, 2009!
Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella was on a lot of my friends’ favorite books, and I never had a chance to read it until a year or so ago on a flight that I knew was going to last me a few hours. I didn’t know if I wanted to read another ‘girly’ novel after reading the other books I was already reading, but I thought I would give it a try. When I started reading the first few chapters though, I was addicted — I immiediately fell in love with it. Rebecca, the main character, was definitely someone that any woman could easily relate to.
This is a book worth reading — and if you can’t wait to read it, then watch the movie when it comes out on February 13, 2009. I know I’m excited to see it with the same girls that I watched Sex and The City: The Movie with… but I have a feeling that we might like this a little bit more. Interested in checking out the book? My friend and I were shopping in SOHO last year when we saw a commotion across the street, and noticed it was a film shoot with Isla Fisher. Didn’t know what film it was until the trailer for this movie came out and I noticed the shot they were doing when we passed by was in it! hah!
